Morning Diary Day 13 – Berlin Night & Day … Make sure you visit MauerPark Flea Market & Karaoke

Sunday, November 2nd 2014

Berlin, Germany

I was lucky enough to catch the great weather just exactly around a month ago in Berlin, walking around Neukolln towards Kreuzberg was a great way to explore the local concept stores and shops. If it is a good day and a sunday, then do not miss the Neukolln flowmarket “flea market” and make sure you make it to the big flea market at Mauerpark that is defiantly worth checking out and specially the open karaoke. At night you can find plenty of beautiful urban restaurants and bars in both areas, as for the touristic attractions, then Mitee is your best place.

Morning Diary Day 12 – Berlin’s Street Art

Tuesday, October 21st 2014

Berlin, Germany

Walk throughout Neukolln neighborhood, visit the open air East Side Gallery with the international street art graffiti, pass by the hackeschen markt and reflect within:

What is life if it wasn’t created for us to sees each other in it. Earth is round for a reason, we each live in the total opposite of one another. We all reflect on each other.. What I see in you I see in me and it is wonderful to experience the warmth of our souls connecting through soil. We are all one united through light thread and spirit. Looking deep into history I resemble repetition in everything only in different uniforms and labels. It is like we live the lives of our ancestors when they lived the lives of our reflectors. Start looking through the eyes of one another as your own reflection, look deep into their souls and realize that in there is the kingdom of treasures. Miracles do happen and wishes come true, but if you don’t put a little effort in there then it is not worth wishing, for nothing is meant to happen effortlessly and nothing requires the whole wide world to change in harmony with your beliefs and thoughts. You alone can set foot, open a new door or fix a broken one. Alone through energies of one another, through the soil that unites our energies, one person can make a difference.

Morning Diary Day 11 – Hello Berlin…

Berlin – Germany

Finally, I made it. I have always wanted to visit Berlin, the city of everything; culture, history, ruins, hope, hipsters, artists, and what does this city not offer? An identity maybe? My first day was beautiful, you can not pass a day in Berlin without going through and between memorials, ornaments, wide streets and some fun time. It is a chill weather, lots of walking is required or biking, and so much to see.

In few words, Berlin is scattered. In my pictures below, you will see a little bit of Neukolln, Mitte; check point Charlie, memorial wall, jewish museum, and around the victory column area.

All my pictures are taken with a CANON EOS 70D

Your body is a given gem…

Your body is your memorial wall… It’s amazing how we are made, our skin is just like a wearable piece of cloth. Very delicate and fragile, beautiful and sheer. The way you treat it, is marked and the way you serve it, appears. It’s washable, chargeable, it is your body of light. It is truly a gem, a very sensitive valuable piece if gem. And we have to appreciate it, be grateful, and take real good care of it. Our decisions are our responsibility, our actions lead to the consequences that may rise. So today, I will dedicate it to my body, my awareness my gratefulness my admiration will be directed to my given piece of gem. Listen to it, learn how to use it, how to take care of it, how to make sure it lives a healthy happy life from the given nourishment around me. History will always be carved in our bodies as a past and our future is what we long for. Let us make it a shining bright future.

Morning Diary 10 – Frankfurt – Old Encounter

Sunday, October 5 2014

Frankfurt – Germany

When you travel, you travel the world, even if you travel to one place. When you travel, you travel within if you are only aware of everything as if it is not your personal experience but an experience you are only attending. Traveling is your life living only multiplied by hundreds. After 12 years… I have finally made it to Germany, and I was lucky enough to meet my high-school best friend in Frankfurt. A great encounter, a great meet up and catching up after such long time as well as exploring beautiful Frankfurt. A city that is very diverse from modern, to formal, to informal and to lego like. Walk around, check out the center, Romerberg, Zeil street, Sachsenhausen old restaurants, Mainufer river, and the love lock bridge.

And here is a beautiful indie german song. Have a wonderful day, a wonderful holiday and a blessed Eid Mubarak Al Adha for all the ones who are celebrating.

Morning Diary Day 9 – Shmisani; and what used to be the happening area in Amman

Tuesday, September 23 2014

Shmisani – Amman – Jordan

A trip back into my childhood, when I used to go to the park run in circles and run to play games. Childhood memories are so innocent, pure and beautiful. They take you into the memory lane of nothingness, when life was all about wide open eyes of wonder, and laughter to anything that looks like fun. Around 20 years ago, Shmisani was the place to be. Today Shmisani’s atmosphere of full of life no longer exists, people live there but drive their cars to different areas to have coffee or chill… Memories always remain.

Here is one of my very favorite songs: Paper Aeroplane by Angus & Julia Stone

Amman – Jabal Amman – Part 2

From last Thursday’s diary I continue with this beautiful morning, stumbled upon beautiful places, and beautiful people. There is nothing more beautiful than art. Emphasizing on the natural beauty that exists, or beautifying your surroundings. Earth colors are welcoming, they are refreshing and warm. Our authenticity is our beauty and our weapon. Don’t let it fade, and don’t destroy it, instead be aware and proud of it. Here are my findings from Jabal Amman, beauty and art in everything I encounter. All my pictures are taken with my Canon 70D.

I have stumbled upon this awesome song that I would like to share with you; alec troniq, mind doodle.

Amman – Jabal Amman – Rainbow | Part 1

What a lovely day. So this is not the first time I cover Jabal Amman on my blog, seriously you can never get bored with this incredible area. I went for an early walk with my friend Amira and we stumbled upon the most beautiful houses, scenery and gardens. A life full of opportunities and surprises only when you are open for them. I suggest you try to walk down the corner after Falafel Al Quds towards downtown area, you will find 7iber building on your right which is a must see, and if you wish to have a tiny little urban office or share one you can try it out, it is defiantly an experience worth living.

A great song I stumbled upon Simpre Me Queddara by Bebe

Morning Diary Day 6 – Deir Ghbar Abdoun Amman Jordan

Amman – Deir Ghbar – Abdoun

There is something about sequence that just attract me, the way the trees look, or windows, houses and even the tiles. I just find something so inspiring about them, as well as color combinations that most probably happen coincidentally. I also think the sky looks phenomenal when it is cloudy, truly walking around your city is a different experience.

In Jordan, we are mostly in our cars driving around. I suggest we all try to get out there by foot, you can meet new people, breathe fresh air, and enjoy the little details around the houses and gardens. Today, I had my earphones and chose one of my favorite playlists on 8tracks. I truly lived a fairytale walking over earth, listening to great music, and taking pictures with my Canon EOS 70D of just anything that attract me.

Morning Diary Day 5 – The suburbs of Jordan

Part 1

September 14 2014

In the suburbs of Jordan between Dabouq Amman and Salt

If you ever visit Jordan, you will love the people. Meet the locals and Spend a day in the suburbs of Jordan. This here is the residence of Sukhtian Family, beautiful souls and a beautiful house. My friend Anoud planned a cooking competition that ended up with great chefs making yummy dishes. Walnut salad, pasta with tomato sauce, grilled chicken “BBQ Mashawi style”, Cannelloni, dark chocolate cake pudding and the best of all homemade Nabulsi Knafeh that is to die for. Make sure you ask for the Knafeh if you visit Jordan, Palestine or Lebanon… Just Yummieee… All pictures are taken with my favorite Canon 7D… Oh and my very favorite song of the day Andrew Belle – In my veins.
