Don’t forget that when you give up something for something better & it comes around again, don’t forget why you left it in the first place.

Yesterday i was very lucky to stumble upon a beautiful life lesson. I was reminded and i was faith strengthened.

When we give up things in our lives, we give them up for reasons. Sometimes they come around again, but when they do, you must remember very well that you once gave them up, and you must remember the reason that made you give them up. And when they are around, welcome them, but don’t be greedy, don’t misjudge, don’t come up with conclusions, don’t take it for granted once again…

Keep reminding yourself that you once gave it up. But if it is bound to be there, it will and let it be if it comes with peace. And if it doesn’t come with peace, it might be only a reassuring test for you, so resist, don’t fight it, don’t fight it to enter or leave, don’t let your self-interest rise above yourself again, when your self-interest was once the reason to let it go.

It makes a big difference when things are granted with no self-interest, but a pure interest, a collective interest, a true interest. Good intentions. We sometimes loose it. But life always manages to remind us of good intentions. You decide to be a better person & so you let go of what is no longer serving you. But once it is around again, do not forget that self-interest that will shadow over your eyes. Keep your self-interest under control.

Remind yourself to be in complete harmony with yourself, with your spirituality, with your connection to earth.

Free yourself

“Ignorance is God’s prison. Knowing is God’s palace.” Rumi – it is always right to unlock the prison within ourself & start by asking life for help. Ask life to help you clear out the way for you, to show you what is good for you & what is confusing you, ask life to show you the way out of closed doors & into open doors, ask God to help you find your answers & not stay stuck around question marks, ask God to help you learn, acknowledge, free yourself, free your mind, free your soul. True love is free, so be free. Look for the palace within you, look for knowledge, look for comfort, look for ease, look for imagination, exploration, space, look for joy, for contribution, for unity, look for resemblance, for alike spirits, for positivity. Believe in the spirit within you, it all takes.

A little prayer for Eid Al Adha

Dream… For it is a given gift to our life… Without dreams how will we ever experience everything… Dream… For dreams are what brings our vision into reality… For how would we visualize them otherwise?… Dream… And be happy closing your eyes & reopening them… For what are dreams if they were not to expand and ask for more… Dream… This life is too dull without our dreams… And without them we wouldn’t have accomplished as far as we already have…. So Dream… And teach your kids to dream with hope… Teach them to dream and send their requests to God… Teach them that the impossible is never impossible with a mind that can create the impossible… So teach your kids to dream… And to believe that good dreams can come to reality if they seek them… That dreams are happy thoughts and happy thoughts are happy feelings & happy feeling lead to manifesting happy things from happening… ❤️ to a Happy Eid, Eid Mubarak, Eid Al Adha, may it bring our good dreams into reality, may it bring peace to earth, may it bring true love into our hearts & may it unite us as a one humanity.

What is your status?

It is an incredible feeling to go beyond yourself and realize that it takes more than a status to really tell if the person in front of you is a good soul or a poisoned soul. Poisoned only from the self at most times, but good always with the heart and inner intentions. It is not about religious belief, race or language that defines how good or compatible the person is, and it is not about genre, situations, or stereotype cultivation. But it is always about base intentions. The mind set in harmony with the heart. It is never about general judgment, it can never be about first impression, and it is not about generalization. People are different, and real people are hard to find. So most people are just simply imitations, and some are just trying to find their true souls, questioning; where do they fit in the most? And only few times, the pure pulls the pure, towards one person or another. Your heart speaks to you and when it does, it is truth. “Don’t let your thoughts cast a shadow over your heart” Rumi once said, because your thoughts are noise, only noise that was created by the other, and the other could have been poisoned and so now you have been poisoned too. Don’t generalize. You have never asked or truly tried to see behind that first impression you have received. That status. That same status that is only a label; a label that was possibly imprinted quickly, have you even ever looked at your status? How many people have similar statuses as you? How alike are you? How would you feel when you have been put in a closed circle and you go along those people who have that similar status? How much are they like you? How much of you are they? So don’t generalize. A status is only a label, to define you, but it can never be who you truly are. It is just armor. I don’t even know why we need that armor anymore in a world where it is so wide open to one another, and one status can never identify you as someone else who has the same status as you. Muslim, Arab, single with a Western Mind. What can this mean to you anyway? How could this mean one thing all the time? Do you know how many carry that very same status? But we don’t all like ice-cream, we don’t all enjoy dancing, we don’t all read Rumi, we don’t all speak 3 different languages, we don’t all fast Ramadan, we don’t all enjoy shisha, we don’t all agree about equal rights, and we sure don’t all love pizza!!! So why are we generalizing? Just because he is an Atheist, British, Married, Rock and Roll fan, why can he not have so much in common with me? What is a status today when the status itself does not represent itself anymore? How many Muslim act the very same way? Believe in the very same thing? Practice the very same way? How many Westernized Arabs think the same way? Enjoy the same thing? Agree on the same values? And how many rock and roll fans are Atheists? British? And how many Atheists are not open to learn about religions? Or no longer question the existence of God? Or practice values that were derived from religions? Again you might have started to generalize again, the questions here are not about the status, it is about different people with same status only because they had to be identified to the world, and what did we do? We decided to imprint that first impression, and what did that first impression do? It prevented us from really seeing the true soul of that person we have just met. So Voila, maybe it is time to stop criticizing before feeling annoyed being criticized.

Never give up on yourself.

“Never give up on yourself.” #Rumi – even if you had to take the longest road, even if you had to take the steepest valley, even if the pain is unbearable, even if life becomes suffocating, even if the way is blocked… Do not give up on yourself but instead… Ask for expansion, ask for breaking your own self barriers, ask for graceful love, ask for patience, ask for strength, ask for the angels to surround you, ask for God to protect you & ask yourself to set your soul free. Close your eyes if you have to, try to keep your wisdom third eye open, close your ears if you have to, but try to keep listening internally… Try and try again and try again but never ever give up on the most beautiful & solid thing you have got… Yourself.

Do not just do nothing & complain at the very same time.

What happens when you save the earth make memory of the past & work your way for your future?

“You sit here for days saying, This is strange business. You’re the strange business. You have the energy of the sun in you, but you keep knotting it up at the base of your spine. You’re some weird kind of gold that wants to stay melted in the furnace, so you won’t have to become coins.” Rumi

Letting go of perfection & joining the most imperfect life.

Today i want to let go of my love for perfection

For what is perfection without imperfection?
Imperfection is what completes perfection. It is the natural cherry on top of everything made to perfection.
It is the signature, the uniqueness, the spontaneous & the unexpected.
I invite you to join me into letting go of trying too hard to make things look perfect, be perfect or even close to perfection.
I used to say am a perfectionist, today I choose to let go of this saying and instead, I want to say am natural.
I want to dance through life not worrying about tripping because when I trip, I want to see it as only part of my life’s unique choreography.
I want to stop trying & instead start doing without having to worry about the steps I take or the outcome of things.
I want to be certain that whatever step I take is the most natural and therefore resulting in the way it naturally will come out to be.
I want to quit thinking of the best way to do things and the best way to create things for no matter how much I try, I will always remain to be an instrument to a higher power that is the real creator to things.
I want to enjoy my freedom of thoughts & instincts and trust that what I was given of thoughts & feelings are the best instruments given to me for me to use to create my piece.
And I want my piece to be imperfect. Natural and unique. I want it to be called my piece of Art. And what is art, if there is nothing so imperfect to look in to? What we see as beautiful is always done so imperfectly that we end up falling in love with. For when we look at an art piece that is perfect it is the most boring and repetitive piece we see.
I no longer want a perfect mate, i want an imperfect mate to be imperfect with. I want to be natural. I want to be as humble and as blessed as I can be. I want to be so busy living my every move instead of being busy trying to make the right move to reach my perfect looking future.
I do not want a perfect future. It is too tiering and too much of a waste of life. I want an imperfect future. I want a natural future. The future I am going to get at anyway, no difference can be made to the approach I take to reach it except my mind.
I either worry the hell out of my way to get there or I simply dance which ever way my body sways and I will always arrive to the very same place.
The only difference is my journey. I will either have a rough journey trying to be perfect or I will love the moments I trip and fall for they are the most unique beat to my song.
So let us be natural. However imperfect that is, let us enjoy that very cherry on top. Let us laugh out and feel so lucky when we notice how imperfect we have done things. Let us be appreciative, for we were given is this imperfect life.

If I want to get an image of a tattoo engraved into my body…

If I want to get an image of a tattoo engraved into my body, I will choose the image of water. That is an image of nothing but movement with a peaceful sound. I choose water to remind me of purity, my real reflection before mixing it with anything else, because water never stops moving until it is mixed with solid and dirt. I choose water to remind me of clarity and transparency, because water is always crystal clear and transparent until it is mixed with solid and dirt. I choose water to remind me of freshness, my peace of mind before allowing all thoughts to enter like solid and dirt. I choose water to remind me of satisfaction, my real self before allowing thirst and desire to enter like solid and dirt. I choose water because it reminds me that I was once born just like water, and I can always be reminded by my pure existence, I choose water to remember how to deal with others around me, to be just like water, a pure reflection with soft movement and a peaceful sound. I choose water because it is what I like to remind myself with every minute of my being, to remember to be like water; before I think, I speak or I act, and this is the tattoo I would like to engrave into my body only it has no image and it never stops moving and will always have a graceful sound.

If I had a plan….

I believe that God has a plan. A plan that is much better than your plan, my plan and their plan. He has a plan for every plan we make. He has the master plan. If i was you, i would not worry. I would focus on my goal and take honest steps with a heart that knows God is watching over me, protecting me & guiding me. I would listen to only my heart, my gut, my instincts. I would not worry to take the wrong decision, step or choice. Because i believe & i know that God has the bigger plan. And that with my pure heart, clear vision, and honest steps i take, God will always be there watching me, helping me. And eventually, with my patience, my persistence & good will, God will help put the right pieces in the right place for me. 💙
