Zürich – Switzerland

After spending 12 hours in Zürich, I was lucky enough to have yet another 12 hours day time in this stunning city and I decided to just walk all over Zrich by foot from one area to another. It is quiet small and easy to move around, a bicycle would be faster and more fun, but if you wish to just stop when you want, take a photograph or just stare while you get inspired by all the little details and breathtaking architecture, then do it by foot. Zürich is one beautiful gothic medieval city that is just full of yet more surprises coming out from every corner… An art piece, a city full of art, a trip to remember and to repeat. Love Switzerland.

Solothurn, Switzerland

Where do I start from; for the love of architecture ? this town is breathtaking. It is all about the details, about the little pretty things, it is colorful, full of authentic colors, and beautiful people walking around, you would sense they should be in some sort of a costume, but they are not. The tiny shops, the bicycles, the flowers, the windows, the doors, the river… I kept wondering how do the people live here? It is such a small city, but it brings happenings into your heart, unless it is because I haven’t explored the outside of the center. Anyway, if you ever visit Switzerland, try your best not to miss visiting this unforgettable city that is just about 2hours away from Zürich by train.

Geometric is one of my core inspirations. I just love them. I love the angels, I love squares, lines, sequence, it just inspires me. In fashion, structure is all about tailoring, the fitting, the proper proportions, sewing, finishing. How your outfit is tailored is very important, and if you match it with geometric lines or shapes, then you have just made your tailoring an art piece. Today look at your day as if it was brought to you on a golden tray with crystal lining & sprinkled diamonds. Be aware of your movement, your heart beat, your breathing. Today is your day, it is a day you deserve to recognize yourself, the day you give to yourself, and appreciate yourself. Be kind to you, to the ones near you, and the ones crossing you. Food is one of the topics that unites the world together, we all strive to learn new recipes, new food, new taste, to add a new dish to a table that unites families, friends, neighbors, colleagues, social events, private events, public events and the world. What is better than to share, to love, to help, to feel alive, to care, to feel compassionate for one another.

My dish for today, unites the Middle-Eastern & North African cuisine, and it is a dish that is cooked for the world to try and taste. Today I want to tell you more about this famous Mulukhiyah, pronounced in over 10 different accents, and has few different names that all sound similar: ملوخية Mulukhiyah, Mloukhieh (is how I say it), Molokhia, Molokhieh, Molokheyyah Mloukhya, Moroheiya, Mrenda, Murere, Apoth, Kren-Kre or maybe not too much of a similarity 🙂 in the west you might need to ask for Jew’s Mallow or Jute Mellow or Nalta.
